In the Shadow Box Collection, I try to show modern media through an 8-bit filter. The goal is to create an alternate reality where various aspects of our culture exist only in a video game format. I also enjoy juxtaposing the serious content with the innocent aesthetic of Pixel Art. Every Shadow Box comes with a game cartridge, a controller, and a recreation of a scene using Perler Fuse Beads for display. They are each 12 inches by 12 inches.
